Citizen Science Workshop

The Citizen Scientist's Guide Workshop will bring together scientists, educators, and data providers to generate a guide to Earth science observations. The guide is intended to help citizens make meaningful observations about the environment and relate those observations to satellite data.

The workshop will be held August 12 and 13, 2008, at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Please bring a photo id, your visitor responsibility form, and sign in at the main gate.

Directions to the Goddard Visitor's center are at:
To get to the main gate, you will turn left on Goddard Road and park in the lot on your right. There is a light on Goddard Road, and you'll see the center on the left. If you get to IceSat Road (the road these directions tell you to turn on), you've gone too far.

After you sign in, go back out to Greenbelt Road. Turn left and then turn left at IceSat Road. It's the next light. Show your visitor's pass and photo id to go through the gate, then turn right at the light. Turn right at the second stop sign and follow the road into the Building 33 parking lot. Facing the building, you'll want to go in the far left door. The conference room we'll be meeting in, H114, is just inside the door on the left side of the hall.
