Summary

Students will study how temp and concentration affect reaction rates and then design a procedure to get the reaction to occur in a specified amount of time.

Learning Goals

This activity is designed to help students learn about kinetics as well as design and carryout an investigation.

Context for Use

This takes approximately 5 full class days in a lab environment. Appropriate lab technique and equipment recognition is necessary. This is done during the last quarter of the school year as an assessment.
