Coastal sedimentologist located at Stockton University in southern New Jersey, USA.

Areas of expertise include clastic sedimentology, sedimentary and surficial processes in marshes and estuaries,  storm effects, human impacts, and time series analysis. 

M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Delaware.  Post-doctoral research at the University of South Carolina and the Université de Bretagne Occidentale/Institut Universitaire Européen de la Mer in Brest, France.
