<p class="MsoNormal">Kelvin Loutan Jr. is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He subsequently obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, and later completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechatronics at the University of Trinidad and Tobago.

<p class="MsoNormal">Dr. Loutan is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Trinidad and Tobago’s Aviation Institute, where he also serves as Discipline Leader for the Aeronautical and Airworthiness Engineering Programme. His research interests include engineering design, as well as the modelling and simulation of dynamic systems.
