Kimberly Stubbs

Kimberly Stubbs is currently an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Education within the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida. She holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida (UF). Before this, she earned both a master’s and bachelor’s degree from UF in mechanical engineering.

In her current role with EED, she teaches and supervises undergraduate students as they develop new skills in the MATLAB coding environment using an experiential learning-based flipped course format. She also serves as a faculty mentor for the Integrated Product and Process Design (IPPD) program. Kimberly's research focus is the design and control of rehabilitation robotics with physical human machine interaction.
