DANIEL DICKERSON, Ph.D., is Professor of Science Education in the Department of Mathematics, Science, and Instructional Technology Education and coordinator of the STEM CoRE (Collaborative for Research in Education) at East Carolina University.  His research focuses on the teaching and learning of earth and environmental science content, environmental education, and STEM instruction. He is a former high school earth science teacher who has served as PI, Co-PI, or Evaluator on NOAA, NSF, US Department of Education, IMLS, state, and foundation funded projects.
