I have four classes of 30+ students in general science. We are working on earth/space science this semester. I had these students do a compare and contrast of the ozone levels throughout 2005 (a month to month stack)on image J. The students looked at both the different months and locations of the world. They were assigned a specific region of the world. Once we had gone through the different months, they created a class chart on the board with their findings. This was done as a quick trial this year, but will be used next year. I can forsee using the image J for various subject areas, also.
