CC Special Student Project

This is what one student submitted. She did this after 2 Virtual Classroom (synchronous) meetings with me & 2 other students online, as she practiced using the CA & MN data used in the EET Step-by-Step Procedures. The analysis is simple, but made her aware of the potential of predicting climate change. She actually did most of this on her own.

This is a 2nd presentation by another student. The climate change projections are between CA & IL. The analysis is meager, but I am very proud of this student who had only a very basic knowledge of Excel. She mastered using the AVERAGE formula AND she mastered the graphing of all of her data. This was done as extra credit for this online course, & I was never in a room with her. We communicated using the Virtual Classroom in Blackboard which is a synchronous facility which permits the display of URLS, use of a whiteboard, & immediate comments/answers to questions, etc. I'm particularly proud of this student as she completed this AFTER the course had ended & grades submitted. She was dedicated & determined to complete what she had started regardless of it's being late due to her being overwhelmed with other class final projects & exams.
