DRAFT of LP Ideas

Are we supposed to post here a draft of a lesson plan, or are we supposed to post this during the 2nd session this Wed., Feb. 15th? I have one which I want to use this Fall, but have many items to check before I can develop it completely & provide the coordinates, data files, etc. for students to use after the demo/practice sessions.

Any comments/suggestions are welcome.

Aileen

EVERYONE CHECK THIS OUT, but be PATIENT.

Linda, this is WONDERFUL. It took a long time to download, but that was because of all of the graphics (maps). You've given me an idea as to how I can do a similar PPT to use with my online students. I hink this will make my approach it easier. Thank you.

good evening

On Thursday, Feb. 9, I introduced the website to all of my students and showed them different areas. On Friday, Feb. 10 I took them into the computer lab and had a list of things for them to do to show me that they understood the website. First period was able to work with the site, but when my second period class tried to open the site for some reason it work not open. SSSSSOOOOO, my other classes where not able to work with the website. I plan on taking them back to the lab several more times working up to the map making. We are studying Plate Tectonics, Earthquakes, and Mountains /Volcanoes at this time and the website has pulled my students interest with the technology.
