I have just taken my 9th grade Earth Science students in the computer lab. I had 3 NASA websites they were to explore. I had step by step directions with guided exploration questions for them to follow. Take home messge? I am not sure they will be able to manipulate through the Jules Verne software in the manner I wanted: comparison of planetary features. I may just be a bit worn out, but the thought of the creation of step by step directions for these kids to follow overwhelms me.....any ideas to simplify the EET's directions? I have printed out the EET's chapter we conferenced on, to have right in front of me, while I work out a streamlined direction sheet for the kids. .....also, my school computers are ok with the imagery....just have to cancel the blocking.
