Goals & Agenda

April 23-25, 2012

All sessions will be held in the Alumni Guest House, Carleton College

Workshop Goals

  1. To create a retrospective analysis of where the NSDL community started with its 2000 vision as laid out in Pathways to Progress, answering questions such as:
      • How has the original vision for the NSDL been realized?
      • How has it developed over time?
      • What new knowledge has been generated as a result of the project?
      • In what areas has the NSDL succeeded? What are its future challenges?
      • How does the NSDL relate to future cyberlearning programs?
      1. To disseminate the findings and analysis of this unique social and technological experiment that reflects a forward-looking way both in terms of the means of scholarly collaboration and communication via this open access model.
