Joshua Halpern

Currently Josh Halpern is a core member of the LibreTexts [libretexts.org] project , a source of geoscience OER [geo.libretexts.org] as well as a platform that can be used to create and disseminate geoscience education material under Creative Commons license. He retired from Howard University in 2017 after many years of teaching chemistry as well as doing chemical physics research often of relevance to planetary atmospheres. Josh was the founding director of the DC Space Grant Consortium, directed faculty fellowship programs at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center for many years, and lead research and training partnerships involving diverse institutions.
