Jamie MacDonald is an Professor of Geology at Florida Gulf Coast University, in Fort Myers, Florida. He received his Ph.D. in Geology from the University at Albany in 2006 and a B.S. in Environmental Geology from SUNY New Paltz in 1998. Dr. MacDonald’s research interests include ophiolites, petrology, tectonics, and Earth Science education.
