Santosh KC is a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at San Diego State University (SDSU). His research focuses on computational materials science, energy materials, two-dimensional materials, batteries, and electronic, magnetic, and optical properties of materials. He combines atomistic simulations with experimental collaborations to understand and design advanced materials for energy and emerging technologies. He is also committed to innovative teaching, interdisciplinary research, and mentoring students.
