Geological Society of America (GSA) part of EarthConnections:Program Descriptions
GSA has over 25,000 members worldwide and is dedicated to advancing the geosciences, and supporting the professional growth of earth scientists. GSA's primary activities include organizing scientific meetings and conferences, publishing scientific literature, supporting students through career and mentoring programs, applying to research grants, student travel awards to meetings, and field opportunities. GSA also offers professional development opportunities for educators focused on local geologic history, processes, and resources.
