Yanli Cui

Yanli Cui is a dedicated mathematics educator with a passion for teaching.With 12 years teaching AP Calculus BC and experience in the full calculus series at the college level, Yanli is committed to helping students understand and appreciate complex mathematical ideas. She serves as an AP Calculus Reader and facilitates AP Calculus and AP Precalculus professional development for her district. Yanli is proud of her students’ achievements, including a national runner-up finish in the 2020 MathWorks Math Modeling (M3) Challenge. She was recognized as the 2022 Memphis Educator of Excellence. In 2017, she was honored with the MAA Edyth May Sliffe Award for her work with high school mathematics. She was also the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching(PAEMST)State Finalist. Yanli remains focused on nurturing her students’ curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
