I am a PhD student in Earth and Planetary Sciences at UNM studying tectonic geomorphology and geoscience education. I use field methods and 40Ar/39Ar geochronology to analyze incision histories of river systems draining high-topography in the US SW. I also research how capitalism, colonialism, and class shape geoscience and how we interact with landscapes and teach this material in a course titled Geology, Society, and Justice at UNM.
