Scott Sinex

Scott Sinex is Professor Emeritus of Physical Sciences and Engineering at Prince George’s Community College in Maryland (now residing in Cadiz, KY).  He has a Ph.D. in geochemistry from the University of Maryland in College Park.  Spreadsheet fanatic (20+ years) for data analysis, mathematical modeling, error analysis, and interactive glass-box simulations.  Using the sims to enhance conceptual thinking.  Online collaboration such as pooling data and spreadsheet calculations using Google Sheets.  Getting students into big data with large scatter via tide gauge and NASA satellite data to address climate change.  Recently developed a series of Climate Change Sheetslets, interactive GSheets sims, and how to get climate striping into the classroom.
