Mathematics

Fitchburg State University

I'm an atmospheric scientist, focused on stratosphere-troposphere interaction and impacts on North Atlantic winter prediction. However, I teach in a math department, mainly leading our stats (and, in the future, data science) courses! I work at a regional comprehensive PUI in Massachusetts.

An incomplete list of things I'm always happy to talk about:

  • developing quantitative reasoning and literacy;
  • developing visual literacy and connections across different kinds of representations;
  • incorporating geosciences in math/stats course and vice versa
