Discussing Earth part of Cutting Edge:Introductory Courses:Activities
Students are invited to hour-long discussions of controversial geologic topics on Sunday afternoons. Those who attend (about half the class) submit page-long essays through Vista for comments and assessment. A 350-page supplementary text/DVD (Discussing Earth) is provided to support this activity.
Physical Geology part of Cutting Edge:Introductory Courses:Courses
This is a traditional introductory science course that is designed to fulfill a science requirement within the general education requirements at a large (30,000-student) state university.
