In this page you can submit an "activity" which describes something that you do in class with your students or that you assign them to do outside of class. The submission process is simple, and it serves several important purposes:
- It helps you choose what you will work on during the workshop, which will help your time investment on the workshop pay off.
- It creates a "before" version of your activity that you can later compare with the "after" version that you will produce during the workshop and that helps us assess the success of the workshop.
- Submission of activities will also help us build a collection of activities that others on campus can use, hopefully lowering the barrier for adoption of TBL in other classes.
Your submission doesn't have to include all the information requested, but it should at least include the following: an activity title, author's name, email address, and a summary description. Activity details can be entered in the appropriate boxes. You can edit your submission at anytime before, during or after the workshop.
If you have a handout (or any other file) that you give the students for an activity, you can simply upload it under "Activity Description and Teaching Materials".
