I started working as the Administrative Assistant at SERC in July 2018. I work as part of an office management team that supports the various grant-funded programs that run through the Science Education Resource Center. I assist with the administrative needs of the National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT), and am the NAGT awards program coordinator. I also supervisor our magnificent team of Carleton student workers.

Background

My prior experience includes work in secondary education, non-profit case management, and college counseling.

I am a native Minnesotan and grew up in Eden Prairie, although I have lived in a variety of states and four countries in Europe and Asia. I currently live in Faribault where my adult daughters often visit from California and Washington DC. I enjoy spending time with family & friends, cheering for my favorite soccer team, traveling to a new international beach, and volunteering with Rotary Youth Exchange.

Education

Marymount University, M.A. in Humanities with a specialization in teaching secondary English.

University of Minnesota, B.A. in English and Economics
