Professional Experience

I joined the SERC team in November 2021 as an Evaluation/Education Specialist bringing to the team experience in project management, mixed method program evaluation, and community engagement. My knowledge of the biological sciences in conjunction with my background in program evaluation, public policy, and intercultural education allow me to bring a unique perspective to the work we do at SERC.

Prior to starting at SERC, I served as a Program Manager and Compliance Specialist at International Student and Scholar Services at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I collaborated with students, staff, and university community members to develop integral processes, systems, and provide just-in-time information to support international students' success from admission to the University and beyond while navigating governmental immigration systems and regulations. This work incorporated direct student support, program evaluation initiatives, as well as cross-college/institutional change strategies.

I am inspired by innovation and creativity, efficiency, interdisciplinary work, accessible and useful data and data visualizations, and engaging systems to work for all that utilize them. I am particularly interested in and excited to collaborate on work that engages intersections of STEM education, program evaluation and evaluation capacity building, intercultural communication, and JEDI (justice, equity, diversity and inclusion).
