This educational module explores the common characteristics associated with viruses, the structure of viruses and their life cycles, and the relationship between the body and the immune system. Sections include the top 10 facts about viruses, key terms, living or not, lytic or lyso, and me, the virus and my body. They lytic or lyso section features animations of both the lytic and lysogenic life cycles.
A supplemental teachers section outlines the module objectives, rationale and structure.
