This poster presents visual data collected from satellites, ground based observations, and model predications representing solar energy, average temperature, cloud cover, precipitation, soil moisture and vegetation over a 12-month period in 1987. The poster and the associated learning activities enable students to use the data to explore ideas about the environment and gain an understanding of the Earth as a system.
