Laws include the National Environmental Policy Act, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (Superfund), the Endangered Species Act, the Freedom of Information Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act and others.
