The Web Design Guide offers a number of brief tutorials about the necessary design elements for creating an effective website. Tutorials cover such topics as design, speed, content, style, navigation, and more. For example, the design tutorial discusses how the critical elements of audience targeting, download speed, and presentation style affect the usability of a web page. This site also features additional resources such as a beginner's guide which gives step-by-step instructions for creating a webpage, links to web design resources that provide the tools needed by site builders, and an online forum for asking web design questions.
