This writing exercise was designed by the department of English at Northern Illinois University (NIU). It outlines a peer review activity to be used with a pair of students. This activity uses peer review as a critical thinking exercise and is especially effective early in the coursework. Students also develop computer skills such as word processing. This exercise is part of a greater NIU writing module.
