Palaeogeography is the geography of the ancient Earth; it aims to establish the arrangement of the continents and landforms through time. This site provides a discussion of paleogeography as a science and reviews continent configurations in Mesozoic to Cenozoic time, thereby placing each geologic Time Period into a historical geologic context. Information is arranged by time period and is illustrated with plate tectonic maps.
