Jordan Gerton

<p class="MsoNormal">Since joining the university in 2004, I have led and participated in several institutional change initiatives, including co-directing the Utah Pathways to STEM (UPSTEM) project funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.  My work has also included reforming individual science courses, developing instructional support programs and building an interdisciplinary science education research cluster.  I also run an experimental optics research group that develops ultra high-resolution imaging and spectroscopy techniques.

<p class="MsoNormal">I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and earned his master’s and doctorate in physics from Rice University.
