After nearly 20 years working in higher education policy, I recently returned to Penn State as an Associate Professor and Coordinator of Online Programs in Higher Education. My areas of interest include assessment, accreditation, and evaluation.  I've participated in the evaluation of dozens of federal and foundation funded grants, many in the STEM fields including the ECSEL Engineering Education Coalition, the University of Maryland MSP2, and the AAU STEM Initiative. I hold a baccalaureate degree in Ceramic Engineering and a Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  My doctorate is in Higher Education with a minor in Policy Analysis from Penn State University.
