Dr. Thomas A. Creahan is Associate Professor of Economics at Morehead State University, Morehead, KY. Tom has been on the faculty at Morehead State since 1996, where he teaches environmental economics, principles of economics, labor economics, and occasional other subjects. His research interests are in the fields of economics pedagogy, environmental taxation and computer-assisted instruction. He is a three-time graduate of the University of Cincinnati, with a bachelor’s degree in political science, a master’s degree in economics, and the Ph.D. degree, also in economics.
Before completing his Ph.D. and coming to MSU, he taught at Miami University in Ohio, and then worked for several years as an editor for South-Western Publishing Co. Since coming to MSU he has served as Chair of the Faculty Senate, and also served a term as President of the Kentucky Economic Association. Tom and his wife Sherrie have two daughters, Ivy and Terra, who both attend school in Morehead.
