• Eruptive timing and duration of flood basalt volcanism, integrating spatial and geochemical data to examine trends
• Magmatic processes associated with formation and extrusion of giant plagioclase basalts, including large Cu-bearing plagioclase found within basaltic lavas in eastern Oregon (sunstones)
• Intersection of geology, society, and environment – the role of ethics in geoscience education.
