Geremea Fioravanti

Harrisburg Area Community College-Lancaster

Hello, my name is Geremea Fioravanti.  I hold a Master's of Science Degree from the University of South Alabama in marine science.  For my graduate work, I studied coral reefs in the Florida Keys with a research group from Dauphin Island Sea Lab.  The highlight of my marine science education was an opportunity to dive in the D.S.V. Alvin to 2400 m (approximately~7500 ft) beneath the sea, while supporting research for the University of Delaware.   I am a full-time biology professor with Harrisburg Area Community College, and I've been teaching college courses for over twenty years.  I reside in the lovely city of Lancaster, PA.  In addition, I'm currently the president of a 197 year old! science community called the Delaware County Institute of Science (DCIS).  https://www.delcoscience.org/
