Alistair Rogers

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

Alistair Rogers is a plant physiologist and Director of the Climate & Ecosystem Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His work is focused on increasing mechanistic understanding of the physiological processes that impact plant responses to global change, and representation of that process knowledge in climate models. His earlier work was centered on the response of plants to elevated carbon dioxide concentration and he conducted fieldwork at several Free Air Carbon dioxide Enrichment experiments located in the US and Europe. His fieldwork now includes research in the Arctic and tropics. He completed the ADVANCEGeo Train-the-Trainer workshop in January of 2022.
