Science Buddies

Founded in 2001, Science Buddies is a 501(c)(3) public charity supported by a range of corporations, foundations, and individuals.  We are exclusively dedicated to science education.

Science Buddies' goal is to inspire and educate students of all ages with STEM experiments and explorations that reflect their unique personal interests.  Hands-on explorations are universally acknowledged as the best way to teach important STEM concepts.  Our vision is to develop scientist authored, high-quality explorations for every significant area of STEM, from the classics to the cutting edge, across a wide range of student experience and learning environments.  This enables a highly personalized educational experience that maximizes the student’s engagement and learning.  Students performing independent investigations, teachers needing standards-based lesson plans, educators needing classroom activities or challenges, even parents looking for a personalized, engaging, rainy-day activity can all find the ideal experiment or exploration at Science Buddies to spark a student's interest in STEM.  Open access and free, we inclusively reach students of all demographics interested in all areas of science.
