Ben Johnson

I am an assistant professor at Iowa State University. I work on the interactions between the geosphere, biosphere, and atmosphere over Earth History, and how these interactions support long term habitability. I am currently interested in the oxygen isotope history of seawater, biogeochemistry during Precambrian glacial periods, and how the evolution of the terrestrial nitrogen cycle.
