Jessica Miesel

<p class="MsoNormal">Jessica Miesel is a fire ecologist and biogeochemist. Her research focuses on understanding how wildland fire and land management treatments influence ecosystem carbon and nutrient dynamics. In her research and leadership responsibilities, she seeks to increase partnerships between researcher and manager communities. She is interested in expanding student training in higher education to include greater focus on professional development topics. She is particularly interested in topics related to improving workplace climate in academic institutions and the field.
