Hockey slap shot
|Pick a Video:|
This clip shows a slow motion video of a hockey slap shot. The carbon fiber stick bends as the force of the puck on the stick increases. Students can measure the time that the puck and stick are in contact, and position and time for the hockey puck after the puck and stick are no longer in contact. This video is also part of a learning activity Impulse and Momentum.
