OK, just making sure everything works. When I downloaded the San Andreas movie (SCEC_SanAndreas.mov) should I be able to view it from the downloaded file? I can view it straight from the download (in quicktime 7.2) but not otherwise. When I click on the downloaded file, it tries to play in real player, but never starts. If I tell it to play in quicktime, I get an error message (Error 2048: Couldn't open the file scec_sanandreas.mov because it is not a file that quicktime understands). Thanks

Hi Sharon. I had just the opposite problem myself. When I download the file it plays just fine, but not it I just click on the link. I would double check that you have the latest version of QuickTime on your computer and then maybe have already started the program when you try to open the file. Let me know if you have any other issues or if this one doesn't get better.
