NB: This is one of two identical messages being sent to the ITYC Summit participant list. One message is being sent directly to your individual email, the other is coming through the email distribution list, which is our primary means of communication. If you do not receive both, please alert Summit staff. This will help us make sure that you receive necessary information in a timely manner.
Hello everyone!
The next step in getting ready for the ITYC Summit is for those representing an NSF-sponsored project to put together a simple "micro-poster" to help spark conversation. Unlike a typical poster session, authors will share their micro-poster in small-group table conversations.
The table conversations will give participants with micro-posters an opportunity to articulate key elements of their project. The discussions will provide all participants an opportunity to learn about the range of NSF-funded projects, identify commonalities, explore other approaches to their work, and highlight opportunities for collaboration. These conversations will strengthen connections among participants and foster cross-pollination of ideas across the ITYC program.
Each NSF-funded project should prepare one micro-poster for the Summit. If more than one person is representing a given project, please coordinate and submit a single micro-poster for your project. We have posted some resources on the Summit website to help make this as simple as possible.
- Detailed Micro-poster Information and Guidelines
- A power-point poster template (in a variety of colors)
- Two example micro-posters
Please upload your micro-poster via the website by July 9, 2025. We will print them and have them available for you at the Summit.
