Developing Modules for Teaching Economics

Overview

This workshop is designed to bring together a community of scholars to contribute to the development of new or enhance existing modules associated with the following pedagogical practices: Classroom Experiments, Teaching with Computer Simulations, Effective Use of Personal Response Systems, Interactive Lecture Demonstrations, Undergraduate Research.

The goals of the workshop are to:
  • Review, edit, and refine modules associated with the pedagogical practices listed above,
  • Review, edit, and refine pre-submitted activities to be added to the activity collection,
  • Develop strategies for spreading the word about the activity collection.
Workshop activities will include large and small group discussions and planning/writing/reviewing/editing sessions.
