Implementing Universal Design and adding icebreakers to your courses. We will use zoom to apply a checklist for Universal Design to participants' course syllabi.
11:00 Seaweed lab
Learn how to prepare a seaweed herbarium to focus on the role that algae plays in water quality.
Participants who are not staying for the afternoon session fill out the workshop evaluation form.
1:00 Lunch will be provided for participants who are attending the full day workshop.
Discussion of geoscience career opportunities
2:00 GIS lab
Identify attributes of particular interest to explore local databases for any classroom GIS activity
Participants fill out the workshop evaluation form.
