Travel

Participants are responsible for their travel to and from the workshop. Maps and directions to Carleton College are available on the Carleton College website. Please book your travel no later than April 30. Participants will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements and submitting receipts to be reimbursed after completion of the workshop.

Travel by Air

Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport is the closest airport to Northfield. We recommend flight times that arrive no later than 3:30pm on June 11 and depart after 3:30pm on June 13. Please allow a buffer of at least 90 minutes to 2 hours between your flight's arrival time and the time when you would reach Northfield. It is approximately a 45 minute drive between MSP and Northfield.

Airport Shuttles

Ground transportation to and from the airport will be arranged for you based on your arrival and departure times if you provide us with that information in advance, via the travel information form. It is very important that you provide us with your cell phone number on the form so that we may share it with the shuttle company in the event of a flight delay. We will provide you with estimated shuttle pick-up times as the workshop date gets closer.

Travel by Rail

There are Amtrak routes that serve the Minneapolis-St Paul region.
