This JiTT activity will allow instructors to engage students prior to, during, and after lecture. This will be accomplished by asking questions using instructional technologies, course management systems, and in-class discussion of responses.
Characterization of Freshwater Ecosystems: Group Collaborative Learning and Peer review part of PKAL-MnSCU Activities
Field based characterization of freshwater ecosystems using group collaborative learning and peer review in an undergraduate research class. Students work in teams to collect data, evaluate and synthesize results to generate and present a scientific poster.
