The ComPADRE Collections

Workshop Logistics

The workshop will begin at Noon on Sunday, July 29th and conclude at 10:00 pm on Monday, July 30. The time is short so that it is essential that you attend the full workshop.
During the AAPT meeting the workshop participants are encouraged to help ComPADRE Staff highlight their activities at the ComPADRE Booth.
Note that there is a separate registration process for the AAPT meeting. Participants should register for both the workshop and the meeting.

Travel and Lodging

Travel and Lodging information are available through the AAPT Summer Conference Website. Reasonable travel costs will be covered by the workshop. Receipts will be needed for reimbursement.

Participants should make their own lodging arrangements for the AAPT meeting. They will be reimbursed for two nights of their lodging through the workshop. NOTE: The Conference Hotel in Greensboro is full. We recommend you look into the Drury Inn Greensboro, which is across the street from the meeting convention hall.

Communications

Communications with participants before the workshop will be by email and through this web site. If desired by the participants, we may hold a teleconference before the workshop to discuss the pedagogical modules and the workshop logistics.

All participants have indicated that they will bring their own computers to the workshop. These are required to for participation. If there are any difficulties with this requirement, contact Bruce Mason and other arrangements will be made. Internet access will be available in the workshop meeting room.

Meals

Lunch on Sunday at noon, a light dinner Sunday evening, and a snack Monday evening will be provided. NSF grant funding does not cover alcoholic beverages. Please let us know if you have special dietary needs.
