An NSF IUSE (Improving Undergraduate STEM Education) Proposal Writing Workshop is being held at the University of South Florida - Tampa May 14-17, 2015. The workshop will cover a variety of topics intended to help faculty prepare an IUSE proposal for submission in the Fall, 2015 round of the program. The proposal writing workshop is open to all geoscience/physical geography faculty, with preference given to faculty with limited/no prior experience preparing proposals to the IUSE program (or earlier programs including CCLI and TUES). Faculty that have submitted a IUSE/CCLI/TUES proposal, but were not successful, are encouraged to apply to this workshop. This is a great opportunity for early career faculty to become acquainted with grant writing at NSF.

Travel to USF is not provided. Faculty at MSI's and two-year colleges are eligible for travel stipends. Workshop expenses (hotel, food, and local transportation) are covered through an NSF TUES project awarded to Jeff Ryan and Jill Singer.
For further information, access the online application or contact either Jill Singer (singerjk@buffalostate.edu) or Jeff Ryan (ryan@mail.usf.edu).
