I have a mixed background in Studio Art and Geology, and recently discovered a new interest in web design. I draw constantly and make paper by hand when I have the time (and the space). I spent a year after college as an AmeriCorps intern, teaching marine science and the natural history of the Pacific Northwest. In graduate school, I did research in carbonate sedimentology before shifting my focus to the pore-scale mechanics and chemistry of carbon sequestration. I discovered web design after grad school, and I'm currently building a nature guide website in my spare time.
