I began working as the Office Manager at the Science and Education Resources Center (SERC) at Carleton College in late May, 2009, replacing the outgoing Bill Bruihler. In my position at SERC I'm responsible for assisting in the management of SERC finances, as well as helping to manage the finances of the National Association of Geoscience Teachers.

For seven years prior to working at SERC I was the manager of River City Books, an independent book store owned and operated by Carleton College in downtown Northfield. Before working at Carleton College I spent most of my career managing various book stores for Borders Group, Inc.

When I'm not working I spend most of my time running, swimming, reading, and walking my dogs. I also enjoy working in my garden, watching movies, and hiking pretty much anywhere west of Minnesota.
