Editing Interface Gets Some Upgrades

A number of new features and refinements have been made to various editing pages. The most obvious is the addition of an 'editing level' option selectable in the upper right of some pages. This toggles between the 'standard' view (which has some slight enhancements most by way of additional information) and a new 'novice' view which provides a simplified set of features along with some explicit guidance on using the system for first-time users. If you've used the CMS before you'll want to stick with the standard interface. Our new novice interface is designed for folks who've contribute materials to the site (e.g. through a submission form) and want to make some quick updates to their contribuition without a big learning curve. Folks who have contributed materials (identified through the presence of their email address in the email field of the page in question) can create themselves an account and they will be automatically guided through getting access to and editing materials they have contributed.
